Location: Scott's Jazz Club, Sandown Road 1, Belfast, Northern Ireland, United Kingdom

Scott’s Jazz Club are delighted to celebrate the music of Brazil with the Northern Irish premiere of Tommy Halferty’s newest project, Tudo é Som.

As part of the Musician-in-Residence scheme in Dun Laoghaire, Kevin Brady and the other members of the Tommy Halferty Trio have explored and composed music influenced by música instrumental Brasileira (Brazilian instrumental music). This style refers to jazz and other forms of instrumental music inspired by great Brazilian composers such as Hermeto Pascoal, Antônio Carlos Jobim and Antonio Adolfo.

The resulting performance, Tudo é Som (Everything is Sound) celebrates the diversity of culture in Ireland today.

Featuring Derry-born but Dublin-based Tommy Halferty on guitar, Scott Flanigan on Fender Rhodes, Dave Redmond on electric bass and Kevin Brady on drums, this will be an unmissable night of samba, bossa nova, and much more!
