Tommy Halfery,
born in Derry, began his musical career taking Jazz Guitar lessons with Louis Stewart and playing with bands such as `Jump' - a jazz fusion group and later on `Nunn' - a trio of flute, double bass and guitar. Most of the material here was drawn from classical, folk and jazz music. Later Tommy formed a trio consisting of guitar, bass guitar, and drums producing fresh sounds and original compositions with John Wadham (drums), Ronan Guilfoyle (bass). The trio proved to be a well integrated ensemble and one of the most successful groups in Ireland during this period. In his career Tommy has travelled the world and played with Lee Konitz, Benny Golson, Ronnie Cuber, George Mraz, Dave Liebman, Martial Solal.

Conor Guilfoyle has been a member of several groups including the innovative Guilfoyle/Neilsen trio which received worldwide acclaim for it's use of complex metric systems applied to standard material as well as open textures. He has played and toured extensive with many artists such as David Liebman, Sonny Fortune, Joe Lovano, Kenny Werner and John Abercrombie. His studies with the late Frank Malabe in New York gave Conor a love of Afro-Cuban music. He currently directs 3 Latin groups, "Havana 'che" “Havana Son” Cuban salsa/Son bands, and "A night in Havana" a latin jazz big band. He is a member of Pucho and his Latin Soul Brothers European touring band and has also toured with Cuban trumpeter Bobby Carcasses.
